BBC Reporting Scotland - New Studio And Music
Description
On 27th January 2014 BBC Reporting Scotland unveiled on air their brand new broadcasting house style set. Having moved and rebuilt the previous set in another studio it took 3 weeks for this one to be installed. Stylistically similar to BBC Wales Today and the studios at New Broadcasting House it allows the Reporting Scotland team greater flexibility with the studio for differing brands, Sunday Politics, Sports scene, and more.
The title sequence and music remains unchanged, but listen carefully for new news in brief and sports background music.
"Although the new set is a big departure for the programme, it will not look completely unfamiliar. The iconic image of the Clyde waterfront remains. It's described as an evolutionary change rather than a revolutionary one."
