A trip on the world's first sea-going hybrid car ferry, mv Hallaig in June 2016. As it was Sunday she only operates two round trips, so she was charged from the mains and did not need generators. As such this trip was done 100% on battery power. The ride is smooth, quiet, and vibration-free.
