A ballad with words written by Scottish songwriter Jim McLean to the tune of The Mist Covered Mountains. A lullaby documenting a woman's grief and bewilderment at the Highland Clearances, which took place throughout the 18th and 19th centuries, when Scottish people were forced to emigrate be it through politics, the greed of others or starvation.
