On 15 November 2015 the SOAS Ceilidh Band travelled to the port of Calais, in Northern France, to join a protest in solidarity with the sans papiers from several African and Middle Eastern countries asking for asylum in the UK.
The journey to Calais on the boat was one filled with music and dances, as the Ceilidh band fiddled for social justice.
