Jamie's Scottish Evening At King James Thistle Hotel - July 2012
Description
Dinner with traditional Scottish music, dance and song at the King James Thistle Hotel. It was one memorable evening, and part of the Pallante family bus tour of the British Isles July 2012. (Too bad I didn't have a real video camera with me and was sitting in a dark area). Yes we did try the haggis! Tastes like the Scrapple we used to eat in South Jersey. This is dedicated to our MacGregor ancestors (whose surname was forced to change to "Landless"). They migrated through time to Lancaster County, England. Our Henry Landless (b.1824 in Colne) emigrated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,in the 1850s.
