MV Isle Of Lewis Sailing Down The Clyde
Featured video
Description
Caledonian MacBrayne's MV Isle of Lewis (the Ullapool-Stornoway ferry) sailing down the Clyde after essential repairs at Greenock. The ship was apparently damaged by a creel and had to be replaced for the duration of the repairs by the MV Hebrides (the Uig-Tarbert/Lochmaddy ferry), which was in turn replaced by the MV Finlaggan (one of the Kennacraig-Port Askaig/Port Ellen ferries). The good people of Stornoway will no doubt be glad to see their usual ship back to work!
Filmed sailing down the Inverclyde and North Ayrshire coast, from Craigmore on the Isle of Bute. The other ferry briefly seen is CalMac's MV Argyle, one of the Wemyss Bay-Rothesay ferries.
