Description

The Birks of Aberfeldy inspired Robert Burns in 1787 to write the song of the same name. One of the verses:

"The braes ascend like lofty wa's,
The foaming stream deep-roarin' fa's
O'erhung wi' fragrant spreading shaws
The birks of Aberfeldy"

The main waterfall is the Falls of Moness, but there are many other smaller waterfalls on this pleasant walk in this steep sided wooded glen.
The cold weather has semi-frozen the falls, although due to the recent dry spell, not so much water flowing down the burn at the moment.
Aberfeldy, Perthshire, Scotland.
