Description

During WWII the 51st Highland Division(TA) became part of the British Expeditionary Force in 1940. They were sent to try and halt the advance of German units in France. One of the soldiers who was there, Spr Jimmy Johnstone can testify to the truth of the words in this song.

  • charlie Added My Grandfather was captured there he was in the HLI ended up in Stalag 20B Malbork Poland not a holiday camp i may add his stories were very harrowing
